Contributions

The C&O Canal Association welcomes contributions to assist its work. Donation options currently include:

• The C&O Canal Fund, a revolving fund to support current projects and programs in and for the C&O Canal National Historical Park
• The Davies Legal Defense Fund
• The Big Slackwater Fund to support the restoration of the towpath between miles 86.7 and 88.1 so that hikers and cyclists will no longer be forced to detour around that area.

Contributions received without a Fund designated will normally be placed in the C&O Canal Fund. The C&O Canal Association is a volunteer organization. No administrative overhead is taken from donations; the entire amount is used for the specific Fund's purpose.

The C&O Canal Association is a non-profit organization as defined by section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, and all contributions are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
